Three

I had the idea to design stickers based off the songs by Sleeping at Last, written about each of the 9 Enneagram types! You can find his songs and podcasts here: https://fanlink.to/sleepingatlastpodcast http://www.sleepingatlast.com/home-1

Each of Sleeping At Last’s songs are written intentionally, with details hidden beneath each lyric and meaning behind the musicality.  I wanted to create my stickers with the same intentionality and care towards each design choice.

Here’s my Enneagram type 3 sticker and the reasons behind it:

  • - colors represent gold, silver, bronze, pointing to the lyrics in the song and also to how three’s are success driven

  • shape based off of a seal of approval because they long for God and others approval and feel the need to impress or earn love

  • circle cuz they’re well rounded people

  • they are great leaders, and often lead from behind and push others to be their best, like a shadow, represented in the lettering behind “i’m enough”

  • they’re known as the achievers so I over achieved in a way and used many details

  • also a small nod to my mom, she really appreciates South America and my sister said this design has the feel of their design

Four

Here’s my Enneagram type 4 sticker and the reasons behind it:

  • the image gives a sense of looking down at a pile of children’s building blocks, pointing to the song which talks about different creating materials and blocks specially but also reminds me how God looks down at our creations from his point of view and sees what we create as beautiful because we our pouring ourselves out

  • the red colors in the design point to blood color because it symbolizes how the fours are empathetic and care and feel deeply

  • the natural green color because fours are original and act upon a natural process and green is the color known to represent nature

  • pink because it makes me think of innocence and how fours are nostalgic and love living in memories

  • blue because of the sky to nod to how when fours feel lost in their emotions they need to look up and see the hope within despair

  • neutral tan skin type of color because they need to be grounded in trusting that who they are is beautiful and unique in being their raw self

  • cursive because they make beautiful things and the cursive is in each design- (as the piano is in each song, to tie them altogether in the way that we are all human’s with motivations and how we have many characteristics of each type)

  • yellow in the Bible represents fire, which then is used to talk about the purification process and that makes me think about how fours want to be true to themselves and the purest form of who they are, unapologetically

  • dark pure black shadow behind the letters because fours can struggle with really low points of depression and feeling emotions and a struggle to connect with themselves

  • but overall they need to be reminded that when they are their complete selves they are purely beautiful and a reflection of Christ represented through white. they’re made new in Him. They are His creation!

  • when creating this design i truly didn’t think, i just drew what i felt and this is what came out. i’m learning as part four on the enneagram that that is the best and most freeing way to create artwork.

  • the song talks about paint, which this reminds me of a paint palette representing how God gives us many outlets and gifts to be used for Him, and fours tend to be really talented, yet sometimes secretly, and they need to remember that that is incredible and they should be super proud of their gifts!

Here’s my Enneagram type 5 sticker and the reasons behind it:

  • fives like to process and have space to do so, so the negative space in the design represents that

  • the dark colors show how they tend to keep to themselves until they are ready to share with people and illuminate their knowledge which is represented then by the light behind the silhouetted buildings

  • the telescope represents how they love learning and searching for knowledge, and how at their healthiest, they love others through sharing what they’ve discovered

  • the planets are mentioned in the song and are also i think one of the things in creation that we still have so much to discover. when i look at the stars i see and feel hope and i would imagine that when fives look at the vastness of knowledge hidden in the sky they’re excited too.

  • the font i chose is nothing special and somewhat looks simple plain and childish, i wanted it to show how gives when healthy are humble about their intellect and understanding about the world as a child and be always willing to learn from a place of humility.

Here’s my Enneagram type 6 sticker and the reasons behind it:

  • circle because sixes are people centered and all about inclusion and the loving the people hard in their circle- they’re loyal

  • the purple represents how they struggle with fear, like in the movie Inside Out

  • the texture reminds me of a moon, symbolizing how they tend to focus on things in the dark but the contrast is in the lettering being bright and actually illuminated to show that they need to look for the light in the darkness

Here’s my Enneagram type 7 sticker and the reasons behind it:

  • blue to represent the hope-fullness of the sky, as part seven, I am most at peace when staring at the clouds and daydreaming about adventures I could escape on

  • The sticker is a unique shape that is all over the place and not a usual and expected design, it is not in a pattern, or a routine, but unexpected and fun

  • the colors because I feel like they simply represent joy

  • crazy font, nothing the same, exciting

  • There is an airplane because they usually love to travel, and its paper airplane because it shows youthfulness

  • balloon as a nod to Bob Goff, who was a part of inspiring the song

  • flowers because they find beauty in every situation, even beauty in ugly weeds and hard times

  • birds because they long to be free.
